About the role
The Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego Branch Medical Clinic at Point Loma is hiring a Physician (Primary Care) to provide outpatient care to service members and their families. You will take histories, examine patients, make diagnoses, set treatment plans, prescribe, carry out procedures, handle emergency and crisis care, and make referrals, while also advising staff, helping set clinical policy and supporting graduate medical education. The role calls for broad primary-care skill, sound clinical judgement and a collaborative approach in a military treatment setting. Applicants need a medical degree, graduate training and the required accredited residency training; sports-medicine experience or fellowship is preferred.
