About the role

Palau Community College (PCC), Palau's community college based in Koror, is recruiting Field Assistants for its Cooperative Research and Extension Office (CRE) under vacancy announcement VA# 2026-012, which opened on 30 July 2026 and remains open until filled. CRE carries out agricultural research and extension work with communities across Palau. As a Field Assistant you will work closely with supervisors and researchers to schedule weekly work activities, help clean and maintain the CRE building and its surroundings, and assist researchers and extension agents with maintaining laboratory cleanliness, washing glassware and sterilisation. You will also assist with data gathering for field and laboratory experiments, help collect brood stock and release fingerlings, support other extension work in communities across Palau as required by specific research projects, and assist with CRE training programmes in agriculture and related projects, along with other duties assigned by your supervisor and the Vice President for CRE. The salary is $7,800 to $13,852 depending on qualifications and work experience. Application forms can be obtained from PCC's Human Resources Office or the college website.
