About the role

Ballerup Kommune is looking for a teacher for the group scheme at Hedegårdsskolen, working with an upper-school group. This is a permanent, full-time position of 37 hours per week, starting on 1 January 2027 or as soon as possible thereafter. Interviews are expected on 24 November 2026 between 14:00 and 18:00. Hedegårdsskolen is a development-oriented school, and the group scheme offers a workplace with lovely pupils and a kind, strong staff group. Pupils in the scheme are, as a starting point, cognitively within the normal range and typically have challenges with social contact and interaction, attention and concentration. The working day is arranged so there is time for cooperation, joint planning and sparring with psychologists and counsellors. As a teacher in the group scheme, you will work closely with your team to create safety and an exciting, motivating learning environment for pupils who need special educational support and specially adapted teaching beyond what mainstream school can offer. You will help pupils find and use their strengths, set goals for their academic, social and personal development, and treat each pupil as an important actor in their own life and learning. The role also involves close, committed cooperation with parents, your team, your department and your leadership. Pay and employment terms follow the collective agreement for teachers in folk school and special education, with the salary interval for the teacher position stated as DKK 39,934 to DKK 46,586 per month without pension at full-time employment, and final pay set after negotiation.

Requirements
