About the role

The Centre for children and young people with autism spectrum disorder is recruiting a Human Sciences Specialist for its specialised ambulatory intervention service, based in Leudelange with a region still to be defined. This is an outreach role rather than a classroom post: you will go to the pupils, working directly with children with autism in their own school and family environments. You will provide specialised ambulatory interventions that support pupils' learning, autonomy and social participation, adapting your approach to each child's needs and to the setting you are working in. You will inform and advise parents and socio-educational professionals, helping them understand the child's needs and the strategies that work best. You will differentiate teaching and learning methods for each pupil, organise and lead meetings and interviews with parents, and draft the reports and assessments that document progress. You will continuously re-evaluate each pupil's care in light of their diagnosis and your observations, drawing on specialist pedagogy methods and on the legislative and regulatory framework that governs this support. Discretion, responsibility and the ability to manage crises and conflicts calmly are essential, as is the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. This is a full-time post in group A2, under a civil servant, change-of-administration or trainee appointment. Applications are made online via MyGuichet, and the deadline is 23 November 2026.
