HR Operations & Payroll Specialist

About the role

AlertMedia, the risk intelligence and emergency communication platform used by organisations to protect their people and operations, is hiring an HR Operations & Payroll Specialist to help build and run the operational foundation of its growing People function in Mexico. Based hybrid in downtown Mexico City (Reforma area, three days a week in the office) and reporting to the Regional HR Manager, the specialist owns the end-to-end payroll cycle, coordinates Mexican statutory obligations including IMSS, INFONAVIT, FONACOT, SUA/SIPARE, PTU, aguinaldo and vacation premium, administers the HRIS and employee records, manages benefits administration and HR vendors, and acts as a first-line operational resource for employees in Mexico. Requirements

3+ years of relevant experience in HR Operations, payroll administration, People Operations or a related HR role in Mexico Hands-on experience supporting Mexican payroll, ideally with an external payroll provider, including IMSS, INFONAVIT, FONACOT, SUA/SIPARE, PTU, aguinaldo and vacation premium Experience administering HRIS, payroll, time and attendance and/or benefits systems Strong written and verbal communication skills in both Spanish and English Legal right to work in Mexico without sponsorship
