Individual Consultant - Video Producer (Documentary)

About the role

The Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI) is seeking an individual consultant video producer for its Guyana office to document the Guyana-Norway Partnership under the GRIF Management Support project. Working remotely but travelling in person to project sites across Guyana, including Georgetown and field locations, the consultant will produce one high-quality 40-minute documentary covering the whole partnership, plus fifteen short project videos of two to three minutes each covering the 19 GRIF-funded projects. Work includes research, storylines and storyboards, interview guides and shot lists, filming interviews with beneficiaries, partners and officials, capturing supporting footage of communities and project outcomes, and editing everything to final approved cuts. The deliverable-based consultancy spans eight and a half months, capped at 179 billable days, with a total fee of USD 49,000 stated in the terms of reference (a contract fee, not a salary). Requirements

Master's degree in public communication or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, with training in video production or cinematography Minimum 5-8 years of experience in documentary filmmaking, media and communications or communication for development Proven experience developing, directing and producing documentary videos from concept to screen, including scriptwriting, filming, editing and publishing Strong portfolio of past work; ability to conduct interviews and field shoots in remote areas, and editing skills in tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve
