About the role
Ministry of Public Works and Spatial Planning (OWRO) of Suriname is seeking a Legal and Policy Framework Expert for the Suriname GRID Project, based in Paramaribo. The multi-year project aims to bring environmental sustainability into planning for transport infrastructure, such as ports and roads, along the Suriname River, in an area running from Braamspunt at the river mouth, past Paramaribo, up to Paranam. The engagement is a consultancy. The expert works on the legal and policy framework underpinning the project's environmental and spatial planning. The vacancy is open to Suriname nationals, civil servants and legal residents of Suriname.
