About the role
DIDELASA is hiring a Diesel Mechanic specialising in Detroit and Cummins engines for its workshop in Zone 7 of Guatemala City, in a full-time vacancy published on 19 October 2026 on the Trabajos Diarios job board at Q5,000 per month. The mechanic is responsible for the diagnosis, maintenance and repair of diesel engines, ensuring their optimal functioning, reliability and compliance with quality and safety standards. Main functions include diagnosing and repairing faults in Detroit and Cummins diesel engines, carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment and/or the fleet, adjustments, disassembly and assembly of diesel engines, using diagnostic tools and reading fault codes, recording work performed and reporting equipment conditions, complying with established safety norms and technical procedures, and supporting functional testing and start-up. Requirements
