About the role
The Veterans Health Administration is hiring three Medical Support Assistants for its Community Care team (CITC) in Minneapolis, Minnesota, helping veterans get timely appointments with community providers. You will schedule and coordinate community care appointments, process consults and referrals, sort out scheduling problems, and support telehealth and electronic health-record workflows. This full-time, permanent GS-05 role works Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. You need a high school diploma or GED, English proficiency, and one year of specialised experience equivalent to GS-04, plus relevant knowledge and skills; computer and appointment-coordination experience is preferred.
