About the role
Rosebel Gold Mines N.V., part of the Zijin Mining Group and operator of one of Suriname's largest gold mines, is hiring a Mine Engineer for its Brokopondo operation. This is a full-time, on-site role worked on a 14-days-on / 7-days-off rotation — two weeks at the mine followed by a full week off. As Mine Engineer you will be responsible for mine planning and technical support to operations: pit designs, production schedules, grade control, reconciliation and continuous improvement of mining processes. You will work closely with geology, survey and operations teams to ensure the mine plan is executed safely and efficiently. Requirements
Degree in mining engineering or a related field. Experience in mine planning, production or technical services. Proficiency with mine planning software (Surpac, Datamine, MineSched or similar). Strong understanding of open-pit mining methods and safety. Willingness to work a 14/7 rotation in Brokopondo, Suriname.
