About the role
The Centre pour le développement moteur et corporel in Strassen supports children and young people whose motor development calls for specialist help. This fixed-term post, running to 22 June 2027, is for an occupational therapist or psychomotor therapist who will carry out systematic screening for pupils in the fundamental education system, helping to spot motor and psychomotor difficulties early so that each child can be offered the most inclusive form of support. Working under the centre's director, the successful candidate will divide their time between three kinds of work. In evaluation, they will administer standardised and specific clinical tests, write reports and contribute to specialised diagnoses. In direct care, they will work at regional or local level with pupils, guiding teaching teams and members of the specialised psycho-pedagogy teams on how best to support them. In prevention, they will help run projects with schools, the after-school care service and other partners, and promote the centre's prevention and awareness work. The role also involves keeping the electronic pupil file up to date, regularly reviewing whether the measures put in place are working, and advising parents on specific interventions such as medical examinations where relevant.
