About the role
Hilti, the family-owned global leader in construction innovation with more than 34,000 team members across 120 countries, is hiring a Segment Manager at its headquarters in Schaan, Liechtenstein. This full-time role leads strategic product development for a segment, working with a dynamic team and influencing global product managers, with travel requirements of up to 20 percent. As Segment Manager you will define and drive the long-term product innovation roadmap for your segment, identifying opportunities across product categories and aligning them with business unit strategy. You will translate customer needs into hardware, software and service solutions while staying ahead of industry trends and competitors, manage the entire product lifecycle from launch to phase-out, and lead strategic initiatives that drive sustainable value. You will act as the key connection between sales regions and internal functions such as Development, Engineering, Supply and Quality, and build and guide a team of product managers, supported by a structured onboarding path into Hilti's matrix organisation. Requirements
Background in engineering or computer science Experience in top-tier management consulting, an MBA from a leading institution, or comparable leadership experience in engineering or technical consultancy Strong business acumen and an entrepreneurial mindset Experience leading or managing teams and collaborating across functions Willingness and flexibility to work internationally, with openness to international mobility Strong communication skills in English, spoken and written
