About the role
This is a remote Senior Shopify Developer contract role at Sanctuary Computer, the design and engineering studio that builds high-end e-commerce storefronts. You will build, customise and optimise Shopify stores using Liquid, headless builds and modern front-end technologies, working closely with designers and strategists to ship storefronts that look exceptional and convert. Your days will involve developing custom themes and sections, integrating third-party apps and APIs, improving performance, and solving the tricky edge cases that come with complex catalogues and checkout flows. This is a senior role for a pragmatic developer who cares about craft and collaborates well with design-led teams.
Requirements
You are a senior Shopify developer with deep Liquid and theme development experience. You have strong front-end skills across HTML, CSS and JavaScript, and experience with headless Shopify builds. You collaborate closely with designers and work pragmatically to ship high-quality storefronts.
