About the role
The Police grand-ducale is recruiting a Solution Engineer for its Judicial Police Service, New Technologies section, based in Hamm. This role sits at the centre of the force's lawful interception capability and its judicial work in information technology. You will manage and develop the information systems of the legal interception centre, setting up, maintaining and improving the systems that the centre relies on every day, and you will keep the section's servers and internal technical documentation up to date. Alongside that engineering work, you will support criminal investigations: gathering, centralising, exploiting and analysing information and intelligence of all kinds, and searching for the information and evidence needed to establish the facts of a case. You will also act as a privileged IT contact for colleagues and partners, take part in national and international meetings, carry out judicial acts ordered by the judicial authorities, and give evidence in court when required. The work combines hands-on systems engineering with real investigative impact: the systems you keep running and the analyses you produce directly support judicial proceedings. The post is full-time, in group A1, under a civil servant, change-of-administration or trainee appointment, and a special test is organised after applications are received. Applications are made online via MyGuichet, and the deadline is 18 November 2026.
