About the role
This is a fully remote Staff Software Development Engineer, SDM role at Delinea, the cybersecurity company. You will work on StrongDM access management: building and hardening distributed Go backend systems that broker secure access to infrastructure. Your days will involve designing distributed systems, writing production-quality Go, improving proxy and data-plane components, and acting as a subject-matter expert who exercises strong judgement on security and reliability. This is a staff-level role for an engineer with deep experience in distributed systems, security or cloud infrastructure and a track record of shipping production Go services. You will collaborate closely with engineers across teams and set technical direction.
Requirements
You have deep experience with distributed systems, security or cloud infrastructure, and you ship production Go services. Proxy or data-plane experience is a plus. You bring strong subject-matter judgement and collaborate effectively across teams.
