About the role
Airwallex is hiring a Staff Software Engineer to lead its Ecosystem platform in Singapore. This is an on-site role, five days a week in the office, on a full-time basis. You will own the App Marketplace and Extension Framework - the APIs, SDKs, webhooks, and UI-extension patterns that third-party developers build on. Your work directly shapes how external partners integrate with Airwallex across accounting, HR, ERP, and payments systems. The role carries real technical authority. You will set the architectural direction for the Ecosystem platform, define coding standards, and establish observability practices so that integrations built by third-party developers are reliable, scalable, and maintainable. This is a senior individual-contributor leadership position. It suits an engineer who has shaped platform architecture at scale and wants to keep hands-on technical ownership rather than move into people management. Requirements
