Supervisory Store Associate

About the role

The Defense Commissary Agency is recruiting a Supervisory Store Associate to lead the Front-End Department of its commissary store in Kaneohe, Hawaii. As first-line supervisor you will run checkout operations, patron identification, cash handling and daily deposits, and work across grocery departments (stocking, meat display, produce) and accounts/computer operations. You need one year of specialised experience at GS-6 level, shown through directing staff work and running daily retail operations; education cannot be substituted for this experience. Full-time, permanent, GS 7, $52,680–$68,485/year, on an irregular schedule (days, nights, weekends, holidays). Applicants must meet U.S. citizenship eligibility and background checks, and be ready for physical work including lifting up to 40 pounds and prolonged standing and bending.
