About the role

Nutanix, the hybrid multicloud computing company, is looking for a Systems Engineer (Pre-Sales) to support its Enterprise accounts in Italy, based in Milan. In this role you will act as a trusted technical advisor to some of Italy's largest organisations as they modernise their IT infrastructure. Working closely with the Sales team, you will take time to understand each customer's challenges and design solutions built on Nutanix's hybrid multicloud platform. You will play a critical role in guiding enterprise organisations through their infrastructure modernisation journeys, from early technical discussions and solution design through to presenting and positioning the platform with technical decision-makers. The role blends deep technical work with customer-facing pre-sales, so you will need to connect technical detail to business outcomes and help customers see a clear path from their current environment to a modern cloud operating model. Requirements

Experience as a systems engineer, pre-sales engineer or technical consultant for enterprise IT Strong understanding of data centre infrastructure and hybrid multicloud platforms Ability to understand customer challenges and design appropriate technical solutions Experience working closely with sales teams and enterprise customers Strong communication skills for acting as a trusted technical advisor
