About the role
This transportation security officer screens passengers, baggage, and cargo at Cavern City Airport in Carlsbad, New Mexico, helping keep air travel safe. The officer operates screening equipment and technology to detect dangerous objects, conducts searches and screening, controls terminal entry and exit, gives directions, and answers travellers' questions, following standard operating procedures in a noisy and sometimes stressful environment. Multiple schedules are offered.
