About the role
Wiesbaden's Social Benefits and Job Centre seeks a benefits caseworker for its residential care assistance team in Wiesbaden-Erbenheim. You will assess entitlement to care support under chapters five to nine of Social Code Book XII, advise people seeking help, clarify prior claims with other benefit providers, check income and assets, calculate and approve payments, issue formal decisions and identify relatives liable for maintenance. You should hold the qualification for the higher intermediate civil service, a relevant degree in law, economics, social affairs or administration, or further training such as Verwaltungsfachwirt. Experience with SGB XII or SGB II benefits is an advantage. The post is permanent and full-time, paid at TVöD E 9c (A 10 for civil servants), with an annual bonus, extra pension, flexible hours. Requirements
