About the role
The City of Wetzlar is looking for a building services technician specialising in plumbing, heating and air conditioning, starting 1 January 2027. You will ensure the safe, reliable operation, maintenance and servicing of building systems, carry out assembly, installation and repair work, inspect, control and document technical, fire-protection and safety systems, coordinate external contractors, and handle varied caretaking tasks including minor repairs. You need completed training as a plumbing, heating and air-conditioning installer or an equivalent qualification, sound knowledge of operating and maintaining building systems, technical understanding, analytical thinking, initiative, reliability, flexibility and resilience, good MS Office skills and a driving licence B.
