About the role
Luxair, Luxembourg's national airline, is recruiting a Chief Financial Officer (m/f/x) on a full-time, permanent basis in Luxembourg. Leading the finance function of a national carrier means steering financial strategy across airline operations, tour operating, catering and related businesses. As CFO you will own the group's financial leadership: strategy and planning, budgeting and forecasting, financial reporting, treasury and risk management, and advising the executive team and board on major decisions. You will lead the finance organisation, ensure robust governance and represent the company's financial interests with shareholders, regulators and partners. This is a full-time, permanent, on-site position in Luxembourg. It is aimed at a senior finance executive with CFO or deputy-CFO experience, ideally in aviation, transport or another complex operational industry, with the leadership stature to guide a national airline's finances.
