About the role
UNICEF Afghanistan is recruiting a Chief of Risk Management at the P-5 level for a full-time appointment in Kabul. In one of UNICEF's most complex country operations, you will lead the office's risk management function: identifying and assessing programmatic, operational, and fiduciary risks; advising senior leadership; strengthening internal controls; and ensuring the office can deliver for children while safeguarding resources. This is a senior leadership role demanding deep experience in risk, audit, or compliance within large international organizations, plus the judgment to operate in a high-risk environment. Requirements
- Advanced university degree in a relevant field - Extensive experience in risk management, audit, or compliance at a senior level - Experience within the UN system or large international organizations an advantage - Strong advisory and leadership skills for complex environments - Willingness to be based in Kabul, Afghanistan
