Dependency Evaluator – Physiotherapist (m/f/d)

About the role

The Administration for the Evaluation and Control of Dependency Insurance is looking for a physiotherapist to assess the dependency status of benefit applicants in Luxembourg-Gare. You prepare each evaluation from the file, using available documents, expert reports, previous evaluations and comments, and you gather further information from the applicant, their circle and care providers. On that basis you give an opinion on the applicant's dependency status and on the technical aids they need, and you determine the benefits required from the file. You also inform, advise and guide the people concerned about dependency, prevention and other means of care, respecting confidentiality, and you act as an internal and external reference person for specific questions. You keep the file complete and contribute to the continuous improvement of the service's processes. The post is full-time, offered as a state employee contract (CDI), and applications close on 13 November 2026. No salary is stated in the official vacancy. Responsibilities

- Evaluate the dependency status of benefit applicants, preparing the evaluation from documents, expert reports, previous evaluations and comments - Gather information from the applicant, their entourage and care providers - Give an opinion on the dependency status and on the technical aids needed - Give an opinion on appeals against decisions - Determine the benefits required from the file - Inform, advise and guide stakeholders on dependency, prevention and other means of care, respecting confidentiality - Act as an internal and external reference person for specific questions - Ensure the integrity of the file and contribute to continuous process improvement

Requirements

National of an EU member state. Master's degree, at least level 7, in physiotherapy or an equivalent field. Authorisation to practise as a physiotherapist in Luxembourg. Experience in the field. Mastery of the three administrative languages (French, German, Luxembourgish). Knowledge of the dependency insurance legislation and of the evaluation of dependency; ability to analyse files and give reasoned opinions; sense of organisation, rigour and discretion.

Preferred qualifications

Experience in dependency evaluation or in home care; knowledge of technical aids.
