About the role

The Administration for the Evaluation and Control of Long-Term Care Insurance (AEC) in Luxembourg-Gare is looking for an occupational therapist to assess the dependency situation of people applying for long-term care benefits. This full-time, on-site post is a permanent contract in career group A2. You will prepare each assessment from documents, earlier evaluations and comments, gather the information you need from the applicant, their family and care providers, and give a professional opinion on the person's dependency and their need for technical aids and support. A typical week combines file preparation, interviews and home or care-setting visits, writing opinions, and advising applicants and other parties on dependency, prevention and other forms of care. You will also handle appeals cases, act as an internal and external reference person for specific questions, keep files complete, and help improve the unit's processes. The role suits an occupational therapist who interviews respectfully, analyses carefully, and works with discretion in a sensitive field. No GovJobs reference number is published for this vacancy. No salary is stated in the official listing.
