About the role

Instituto Nacional de Tecnología Agropecuaria (INTA) is seeking a Director/a del Centro Regional Buenos Aires Norte (CERBAN) to lead its regional centre based in Pergamino, Province of Buenos Aires, Argentina. This is a senior leadership opening within Argentina's national agricultural technology institute, offered as a permanent staff (planta permanente) position. The director sets the institutional direction for the regional centre, leads its management and planning, and represents INTA in its work with producers, local institutions and the wider agricultural community across the Buenos Aires Norte region. The selection process includes a review of the candidate's background, a psychotechnical assessment, the submission of an institutional management proposal, and an interview with a selection board. Applicants need a university degree of at least four years — preferably with a postgraduate qualification — around ten years of professional experience, and about six years in management roles.
