About the role
The Centre psycho-social et d'accompagnement scolaires (CePAS) in Luxembourg supports pupils, students and families across the education system, and it also administers financial aid for learners. This full-time post is for the person who will execute that aid and keep the centre's budget on track. The work falls into two connected areas. On financial aid, the manager analyses and processes aid applications, checking that files are accurate and complete, following them up administratively, communicating with the field agents who work with applicants, and answering questions about the aid. They also maintain the databases, produce statistical reports, and help evaluate and improve the processing of aid files, including the use of digital tools such as AI-based solutions, working with the IT service on digitalisation. On budget, the manager handles electronic invoices and their encoding in SAP/SIFIN, keeps the internal budget tracking file, prepares CSV files and treasury returns, liaises on the creation and modification of suppliers, manages operating stocks and supplier contacts, and supports financial accounting through the internal tracking table, bank statement checks and payment follow-up, preparing files for the financial controller. The role suits someone methodical and reliable, comfortable with figures and with the rules that govern public money.
