About the role
The Veterans Health Administration is recruiting a Gastroenterologist to serve veterans in Rolla, Missouri. In this full-time, permanent role you will provide direct patient care for gastrointestinal disorders, including liver disease and hepatitis C, in inpatient and outpatient settings, carrying out diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy, managing consultations, and working with a multidisciplinary team. You will also supervise trainees where assigned and take part in weekend and holiday cover on rotation. The appointment is graded VM 15, with a salary of $350,000 to $400,000 per year, and offers the VA's comprehensive benefits package. The vacancy is open to the public, including U.S. citizens, nationals or those who owe allegiance to the U.S. This is an excepted service position, so non-citizens may be appointed only when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens in accordance with VA policy. Requirements
