About the role

Al-Futtaim Group is one of the Middle East's largest diversified privately held businesses, operating across automotive, retail, real estate, financial services and healthcare, and it runs the IKEA stores in Oman under its retail division. The group is recruiting an HR Business Partner for IKEA Oman, based in Muscat, to act as a key advisor to senior store management on all people matters. In this on-site role you will translate the IKEA people strategy into a store-level strategy, design and recommend an effective organisation structure, lead manpower cost and budget planning, and own the annual manpower budgeting exercise. You will drive talent management, workforce planning, performance management, organisational change and capability building, work with the group's talent acquisition team so that recruitment follows the IKEA values-based approach, ensure new joiners are properly onboarded, and safeguard compliance with HR policies and Oman's localisation requirements. Requirements

- University degree in Human Resources, Psychology or Business Management; a master's degree, CIPD or equivalent qualification is preferred - 8-10 years of experience as an HR generalist, including 3-5 years in leadership roles such as HR Business Partner or Head of People - Strong business and commercial acumen, with experience in organisational transformation, design and employee relations - Full ownership of talent management, culture development, performance management and capability building - Skills in budget planning, data analysis, planning and coordination, change management and stakeholder management
