About the role
This is a second-instance judicial post in the Administrative Chamber of Tallinn Circuit Court, offered through an open public competition. The judge will hear appeals and reviews in administrative cases, examining first-instance decisions, the record and the legal arguments, and giving reasoned appellate decisions. The work will require careful reading of complex files, clear analysis of points of law, and writing that explains why a decision is confirmed, changed or sent back. It suits a lawyer with strong appellate judgment, independence and a precise, disciplined approach to legal reasoning. As a second-instance role, it carries added responsibility for consistency in administrative law. The stated monthly salary for a second-instance judge is 6942.31 euros. Applications close on 13 November 2026.
