About the role

The Ministry of Culture and Tourism (Kültür ve Turizm Bakanlığı) is recruiting 162 contracted librarians (Sözleşmeli Kütüphaneci) for its provincial organisation across Türkiye. Librarians work in public libraries, helping readers find books and information, looking after collections, and supporting reading, learning and cultural activities in their communities. Day-to-day work includes cataloguing and shelving, reader services and guidance, organising collections and library spaces, and helping to run events and programs for children, young people and adults.
