About the role
Provide perioperative anaesthesia care as a Physician Anesthesiologist with the VA Wilmington Healthcare System in Delaware, serving veterans across the full surgical journey. You will carry out preoperative evaluation, airway management and anaesthesia delivery, and oversee post-operative care, working Monday to Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. with on-call coverage. Applicants need a medical degree, a completed anaesthesiology residency and an active medical licence. The position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program, helping with student-loan repayment. It is open to the public and to federal employees, paying $352,000 to $400,000 per year at VM-15. Applications close on 5 November 2026.
