About the role

As deputy head of counterterrorism department 1, you will support the head of department in leading the team and in carrying out work to prevent and counter terrorism. You will help set priorities, guide staff, coordinate with partners inside and outside the ministry, and make sure the department's work is carried out carefully and effectively. The work is for 36 hours per week on a permanent contract, based in Den Haag. It suits an experienced leader with knowledge of security and counterterrorism, strong judgement, and the ability to lead people and work under pressure on sensitive topics. Your leadership will help protect public safety and support a strong, coordinated response to terrorist threats.

Requirements

Benefits

Permanent contract, 36 hours per week, and a gross monthly salary of EUR 6,022 to EUR 8,781 (salary scale 14).
