About the role
The Guerrero State Public Security Secretariat is recruiting a state proximity police officer (Policía de Proximidad Estatal) for service in Iguala de la Independencia, Guerrero. This is a full-time, on-site community policing role focused on local patrol, public presence, and support to residents. The work is carried out on selected days from 06:00 to 18:00 on a rotating schedule with rotating days off, and officers serve as part of a disciplined, team-based unit, following the institution's rules and procedures. The position pays a monthly net salary of MXN 10,000 and is open to applicants with secondary or technical secondary education and no previous experience. Travel is required for this posting.
