About the role
The Army National Guard in Sedalia, Missouri, is hiring a Primary Prevention Specialist to serve as the point of contact and Prevention Integrator for its harm- and abuse-prevention programmes. You will identify the risk and protective factors affecting service members and build coordinated plans that reduce risk and strengthen protection across the force. The role advises Wing and Region commanders, trains service members, civilians and military volunteers, builds partnerships with community organisations, and evaluates prevention communications and campaigns to see what actually works. It is prevention work with real purpose: stopping harm before it happens rather than responding afterwards. This is a full-time National Guard Title 5 Excepted Service position, indefinite and reimbursable. Pay is $74,678 to $97,087 per year.
