About the role

Zain Bahrain, part of the Zain Group and one of the Kingdom of Bahrain's leading mobile telecommunications operators, is recruiting a Procurement and Contract Management Specialist for its Manama operation. The specialist will provide purchasing and procurement services across the organisation in line with corporate policies, international trade regulations and local government rules, covering technology, infrastructure and network equipment as well as corporate services. Responsibilities include supporting tendering policies and procedures, maintaining accurate purchasing records and audit trails, comparing price, delivery, quality and risk across suppliers, maintaining site contracts and leases, negotiating and sustaining best-value deals with international suppliers, and liaising with finance, suppliers and customs on order management and receipt of goods. Requirements

Experience in procurement, purchasing and contract management, ideally in telecommunications or a large corporate environment Knowledge of tendering policies and procedures and of international trade regulation and local government rules Proven supplier negotiation skills and experience managing international vendors and contractors Ability to maintain accurate purchasing records, contracts and audit trails Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across departments such as finance and technology
