About the role

As a first technician in the components team, you will work on the repair and maintenance of components for defence vehicles, including the CV90, in the Componentenherstel and Mechanica cluster. You will carry out preventive and corrective maintenance, modifications, diagnosis and quality tests, and help keep vehicles and their parts in safe working order. The work is for 32 to 38 hours per week on a one-year temporary appointment with the prospect of a permanent appointment, based at the workshop in Leusden. It suits a practical technician who works accurately, follows technical instructions well, and enjoys solving mechanical problems with a team.

Responsibilities

- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on vehicle components. - Perform modifications, diagnosis and quality tests. - Work on defence vehicles including the CV90. - Record work, findings and parts used. - Follow safety and quality procedures in the workshop.

Requirements

MBO-3 education in vehicle technology or mechanical engineering, practical technical skills, a careful and accurate working style, and the ability to work in a workshop team.

Benefits

One-year temporary appointment with the prospect of a permanent appointment, 32 to 38 hours per week, and a gross monthly salary of EUR 3,169 to EUR 3,996 (salary scale 5). This vacancy is open until enough suitable candidates respond.
