About the role
As a V&M officer, you will work on safety and environmental topics that matter for daily operations within the Ministry of Defence. You will advise colleagues, check working practices, help improve safety and environmental care, and support the organisation in meeting its responsibilities. The work is for 32 to 40 hours per week on a temporary appointment with the prospect of a permanent appointment, based in Den Helder. It suits someone with knowledge of safety and environmental work, a practical and careful approach, and good communication skills for working with many different colleagues. You will help make work safer and greener every day.
Responsibilities
- Advise colleagues on safety and environmental issues. - Check working practices and identify risks or improvements. - Support safety and environmental plans and measures. - Record findings and follow up on actions. - Help raise awareness of safety and environmental care.
Requirements
MBO-level education, knowledge of safety and environmental topics, a practical and structured working style, and good communication skills.
Benefits
