About the role

Do you want to take part in shaping and developing mental health services for children and young people in North Iceland? Heilbrigðisstofnun Norðurlands (HSN) is looking for an ambitious and driven child psychologist who has a burning interest in supporting children and young people. The post is 80–100% or as agreed, and the work can be done from any of HSN's main locations and/or remotely, with a start as soon as possible or as agreed. Exciting times lie ahead, as the service is in a process of change in line with the Ministry of Health's plans, and an ambitious action project is beginning that aims to strengthen assessment and treatment of children with ADHD symptoms up to the final assessment. At HSN you will work in a varied interdisciplinary team where professionalism, cooperation and evidence-based treatment methods are in the foreground, with a strong emphasis on staff professional development and regular and varied supervision that supports professional growth, security at work and good services. Psychologists of all genders, experienced as well as less experienced, are encouraged to apply.
