About the role
Nordre Follo kommune is looking for a person who cares about quality, internal control and development work, for a vacant controller post in the child welfare service in Langhus. The child welfare service has 90 employees and is currently divided into nine departments, including reception, infant and toddler, child, youth, care, family guidance and housing for unaccompanied minor refugees. The controller joins the service's leadership team in a knowledge-oriented service that takes part in research projects. The post is permanent and full-time. The work requires a good overview of the service's reporting basis and use of it; independent work, initiative and the ability to identify and follow up issues; management support in the service's departments; and cooperation with the service manager on service development. Requirements
You must be a child welfare pedagogue (barnevernspedagog), a social worker (sosionom), or have other relevant college or university education; you must have good oral and written presentation skills. You should have broad competence and experience with internal control in child welfare and work with statistics, and you must have experience of case processing under the Child Welfare Act (barnevernloven). Experience from the Modulus case system is desired. The successful candidate is structured and orderly, engaged and creative, has a large work capacity, works well independently and in a team, is fearless and dares to challenge surroundings in a positive way, has implementation power and tolerates being the one who points out deviations and follows up that things are done, and is perceived as a team player who makes others good.
