About the role
The City of Leverkusen is hiring a head of budget planning, financial management and cost/performance accounting, who will also serve as deputy head of the finance department. You will coordinate budget planning, result, finance and investment planning, budget execution and cost/performance accounting, lead a team of 12 staff, and prepare council decision papers on the budget statute. The post is permanent and full-time, with part-time possible on a task-oriented basis, paid at A 15 / TVöD-VKA E 14. Applicants need a senior administrative career qualification or a relevant Master's degree plus several years' leadership experience, knowledge of municipal accounting and ideally SAP. This is a senior finance post for a leader who can run budget planning and deputise for the department head. Requirements
