About the role
The City of Leverkusen is hiring a head of its finance department, a senior leadership post with strategic and operational responsibility for the whole department. You will drive budget consolidation and safeguard the city's financial capacity, lead around 120 staff, act as the central contact for the administration leadership and local politics, and ensure lawful execution of the city's finances. The post is permanent and full-time, paid at A 16 / TVöD-VKA E 15Ü, with various working-time models offered. Applicants need a senior administrative career qualification or a relevant university degree plus several years' leadership experience in public administration, deep knowledge of municipal finance, budget law and tax. Requirements
