About the role

Lënster Lycée International School in Junglinster is recruiting a psychologist for its SEPAS pupil support service, on a part-time (50%) basis. This is a fixed-term employee post running until 27 December 2027, with one vacancy available, and it is distinct from the school's otherwise identical post ending 27 December 2026 (GovJobs ref. The psychologist will support pupils' well-being and learning, offering individual and group support, helping pupils develop coping strategies and study skills, and working with teachers, families and external specialists where needed. Typical work includes consultations with pupils, meetings with colleagues and parents, prevention and awareness activities, and careful, confidential record-keeping. The role needs a discreet, empathetic professional who can build trust with young people, work independently within a school team, and communicate clearly in the school's working languages. No salary is stated in the official listing.

Responsibilities

Provide individual and group psychological support to pupils; help pupils with learning, behaviour and well-being difficulties; work with teachers, families and specialist partners on support plans; run prevention and awareness activities; keep confidential records and contribute to SEPAS team meetings.
