About the role
The United States Senate is seeking a Senior Program Manager for its Residential Security System Program, a senior role protecting the people who serve in the Senate. Working for the Senate Sergeant at Arms, you will manage the residential security system programme, applying physical-security and project-management expertise to assessments, plans and installations that keep senators and their families safe at home. Applicants need a high school diploma plus at least ten years of relevant experience, or an associate's degree with eight to ten years, or a bachelor's degree with five to eight years, together with project-management, budgeting and security-programme skills; a Top Secret clearance is required. This is a permanent, full-time post in the Legislative Branch, offering rare insight into the workings of Congress and responsibility that is felt every day. Note that this announcement has no USAJOBS Apply button: applications go through the Senate careers site linked in the announcement. Apply by 10 November 2026.
