About the role

The Legal Services Agency is seeking two financial and debt advisers for the South Ostrobothnia Legal Aid Office in Seinäjoki. These are permanent posts starting on 1 December 2026 or as agreed, with partial remote working and flexible office hours. In addition to legal aid services, the legal aid office provides financial and debt counselling services to private individuals. As a financial and debt adviser, you will give clients information and advice on managing their finances and debts, in varied, independent, and responsible work. The work involves helping clients work through their financial situation, advising on debt management, and supporting them in finding workable solutions. The post is at requirement level Y14, with a task-specific pay component of EUR 2,961.24 per month plus a personal performance component; the listing states that a starting financial and debt adviser's pay is about EUR 3,400 to EUR 3,500 per month. A probation period of six months may apply, and the recruitment may also fill other fixed-term posts that may become available. Please check the official Valtiolle.fi listing and apply through that listing before the deadline.

Eligibility as stated: a higher education degree is required for the post (Government Decree on the Legal Services Agency, as cited in the listing), and the language requirement for the post is excellent spoken and written Finnish and satisfactory comprehension of Swedish. Expected in the listing: experience in financial and debt adviser work or comparable tasks, for example in finance or debt collection; good customer service, cooperation, and interaction skills, flexibility, and stress tolerance; good spoken and written expression, initiative, organisational ability, good ICT skills, and independent, results-oriented working.
