About the role
Help Scout, the remote-first customer support platform and Certified B Corp, is hiring a Technical Support Specialist to join its support team. The specialist works the main support queue — mainly over email, plus Beacon live chat and occasional impromptu customer calls — helping roughly 250 customers a month with questions and problems. Beyond answering tickets, the role troubleshoots bugs, documents feature requests, and carries the voice of the customer back to the Engineering and Product teams. It suits someone with support or success experience who writes clearly and simply, listens patiently, and can work self-sufficiently through to a resolution. Pay is stated by location: EUR 62K-79K for Ireland, the Netherlands and Spain, and GBP 57K-68K for the UK. Help Scout states that for this role it is only able to hire in the UK, Spain, Ireland and the Netherlands, working Monday to Friday in European time zones. Interested candidates should apply through the application link.
