About the role
The Centre for Children and Young People with Autism Spectrum Disorders is looking for a human sciences professional (graduate educator) to provide specialist ambulatory intervention, based in Leudelange. In this full-time post you will support pupils with autism in their everyday school and social settings, helping them learn, communicate and take part with confidence. A typical day includes observing pupils, planning and carrying out individualised support, working with teachers and other professionals, and meeting parents to share progress and agree next steps. You will adapt teaching and learning methods to each pupil's needs, write reports and assessments, and continuously review support in light of diagnosis, observation and feedback. The work also involves advising parents and socio-educational professionals, organising meetings and interviews, and applying the legal and regulatory framework that governs Luxembourg's education system. It suits a qualified, discreet and well-organised professional who can work independently and in a team, manage challenging situations calmly, and build trusting relationships with children, families and colleagues.
